Autumn is my favourite season, and walking into nature is one of the
best things to do this season, isn’t it? This month after visiting
the Czech Republic, I visited friends in Switzerland and walked into
a hilly forest. On the way over the hill, I heard the most beautiful
music with many tones of bell sounds from nowhere, and soon I found
out that the music came from lots of cows! Walking cows with "cow
bells" made such wonderful music which sounded like “gamelans”
from Indonesia. I guess that I’m a “city person”,
who has never heard or seen something like that before in nature.
Anyway, it was a really meditative and memorable experience with cow
bells… In the evening, I have also saw 4 bambies (baby deers)
running in one line, crossing in front of our way. It was so sudden
and fast, but I was so excited to experience the surprising moment!
Hope that YOU
have a good season in your city.
I’m going to visit Cheb (Czech) again at the beginning of November…
I hope it’s not too cold there yet!
Eat well, walk well and sleep well! Take care, to you all :)
See you soon!
Best wishes,
Reiko

all!
Well, I moved around the world a lot this summer… went to Japan
in July for my show in Kobe and went to Hokkaido (which is the most
north prefecture in Japan) to see my friend there. From Sapporo to
Otaru in Hokkaido where I visited has wonderful landscape with the
sea and mountains. The weather was cool and all the food in Hokkaido
was so fresh and so good! I loved the trip.
I came back to Belgium in August, but soon after it, I traveled to
east part of Germany. (You know, Germany is just next door of Belgium,
so it was pretty easy to visit there more than visiting my home country
;) Anyway, I’m looking forward to stopping in Germany on the
way to Czech Republic in October. Weimar in Germany is the city I
always stop on the way to Eastern European countries. (Weimar had
so many musicians, artists, and literary people in history. It’s
so interesting to feel the air of artistic spirits in the city.) Of
course, I’m mostly excited to visit Cheb in the Czech Republic
to have a show and to meet people there soon! It will be my first
show in the country, and the first experience is always memorable,
isn’t it?
Looking forward to it!
Ok, I hope you all are well and have a nice season in your city!
Hope to see YOU
soon!!
Best wishes,
Reiko

Hello
there!
Thanks for visiting my web!
How are you all?
I’m well and I’m back here! Yes, it’s already the
beginning of summer here in
Belgium! How is it in your city?
I had a great time in Tokyo with lots of cherry blossom
in April… and it was great to see everybody in Japan. It’s
too many to name… but, thanks a lot to everyone who I met there!
Hope to see you all soon!
In May, I visited Hanamaki and Tohno
in Iwate prefecture, North Japan. It was so nice
to see the beautiful countryside of this prefecture… and it
was a real pleasure to visit many places and museums in Hanamaki
where I could see works of Kenji Miyazawa (my very
favourite Japanese author!).
I was also so
impressed by the people in Iwate prefecture, they
are so kind and relaxed… I loved the peaceful atmosphere of
the places… Hope to go back there someday! Well, I am actually
going to go back to Japan soon again…
